*Galaxy and **Nebula Painting

Galaxy painting is all the rage. Instagram and Pinterest are full of beautiful nebulas. They look complicated but are actually very easy to create. The secret to a rich and shimmery painting is the iridescent paints.

In this class you will make two different galaxy projects using water colour paints, paint brushes and a white pen. A demonstration using a variety of iridescent water colour paints and inks will introduce you to a selection of products that you could use to create this popular technique.

Project 1: Galaxy World, “You’re Special” card

Using water colour paints and paper you will learn how to create a stunning galaxy globe.

A shimmery sentiment of your choice can be added once your painting is dry.

Project 2: Galaxy Silhouette (you’re choice)

Using the same technique we learned on our Galaxy card we will create a beautiful silhouette painting. A number of stencils will be available for you to choose from, if you have your own silhouette stencil that you would like to use, bring it along. Stencil should be smaller than 5x6 inches.
